zootnik, I stopped shooting film over 4 years ago. When you see me put up a film image its from the first 11 years I did this. However, no one will even look at the film anymore, so I have a mountain of a job, scanning and assembling into the digital library.

You can usually tell which are film by - the format, and secondly, the really pumped color. I try to make my digital images look like the scene.

that would be the white gypsum dunes reflecting the color of the sky, helped along by our good friend Velvia...

so technically, not sand but gypsum..
