Killer. Try not to steal all my business. But for serious, give me a holler when you know which days you'll be on Kauai :)

(just for the record George, weren't you "assholes to elbows" for this shot?) I shot this from the stone wall at daybreak, and I swear the entire Jackson Camera Club had camped out the night before waitin' for a shot like this

1jump, the truth is a whole lot worse than that. This was the first time I fell into the "trap". Its like this.

I go to the Snake River Overlook to catch a sunrise. The weather shuts me out. OK I go back the next morning. Ditto. So now after investing 2 mornings on it, I'd be a damn fool not to be there on day 3 cause its due and going off for sure. Oops, shut out again. Now, do I go back the 4th day, because I've invested 3 precious mornings on it? Its like I have no choice. I have to. Thats the trap..

This was day 5. and I got there about 2 hours before first glow so I could pick my spot, as there always about 20 to 30 tripods, of course. Hey its better than at Schwabachers Landing... (Slumlagers, whatever it is...)
