Prickly Proposition

..and they called it puppy love, just because we're in our teens....(ooops, note to self: quit typing with the headphones on)

I was out in the Superstitions once and a tourist had bared his arm and was inching closer and closer to a cholla to see how close he had to get before it jumped onto his arm. jumping cholla, you know.

I walked over and told him, "better be careful; get too close and about 7 of them will come flying at you all at once, and for some reason, they know to go for the eyes...." . His girlfriend shrieked, grabbed his arm and hauled him away. True story. I was amused.
