Great texture and contrast. I was fascinated by the detail in the ripples until I read another comment pointing out the "S" curve. Great shot. I'll have to watch for the curve the next time I get down to Great Sand Dunes.

bloody hell, I'm struggling hard not to use the word "perfect"... ah well, there it was... this photo really is one of the most impressive ones I've ever seen in b/w nature photography, the composition, the way the texture comes out - all these aspects seem to compliment each other. I could stare at it for hours...
