.....and thusly, as was not fortold in any gospel known to man, the heavens did open and a fantastic light descended upon the land. I was unsure as to whether the alien mothership was indeed landing and I would get the picture of a lifetime, or someone had slipped some windowpane into my mountain dew.

The absence of any alien lifeforms convinced me of the latter, but later on when I looked at the raw, oddly enough, the whole thing turned out to be a natural phenomenon. maybe swamp gas. Huh, who knew...

the colors are real. the white gypsum reflects the color of the sky.....it was insane...
