'Summer Poppies'

summer poppies in my fave place, the Dragoons. These are remarkable in that it takes about a month of consistent monsoon precip to make this happen. With Arizona's heat 3 or 4 days in succession without rain would doom this display. I lived in AZ over 20 years before I saw this happen.
